'Because I missed the Banh Mi from Hanoi Restaurant last week, I searched for a similar sandwich around Davao downtown and lo and behold, I found one. There’s this small store at the back of a mall called Davao Subway where they offer the local version of Subway. Their sandwiches come in two sizes 6 Inches or the half and the foot long or the full size. I tried their Seafood overload, Tuna delight, Roasted chicken and their Davao Sub-way. The bun is soft in the inside and has a quite crunchy crust on top. Their homemade sauce is not your typical Filipino sauce. Its quite sour, not too salty yet creamy. The sandwiches made me full for sure. And by the way, the sandwiches are very very affordable. So if you’re looking for sandwhiches, try Davao Subway. They are located at Obrero at the back of Victoria Plaza, just outside their parking area.
